The work

Le Jardin de Plumes

A macaw embroidered in oval silk thread occupies the front of Le Jardin de Plumes. The red of its head and the greens and blues of its plumage reappear in the feathers arranged around it.

Short, colourful feathers alternate with long white feathers that extend beyond the edges of the bag. Their orientation continues the drawing of the bird and shifts its outline. Above this composition, the braided handles trace two arcs.
