The work

Le Papillon

Le Papillon presents two different compositions. On one side, the insect’s painted wings are adorned with crystals and surrounded by green, pink and violet beads. Faceted elements draw its body.

The other side carries, on a blue ground, a gilt architectural motif and the name Maison Delmon. Flowers and ornaments continue along the sides of this rectangular volume. A gilt chain, interlaced with a green cord, takes up one of the colours of the decoration.
